每年耶誕節來臨之前，整個烏節路充滿了各式各樣美麗的燈飾和耶誕樹，在熱帶渡過耶誕節，別有一番風味。

濱海灣金沙酒店 ( Marina Bay Sands ) 與旁邊的ArtScience博物館，是由知名建築師薩夫迪 ( Moshe Safdie )所設計。濱海灣金沙酒店是世界有名的豪華賭場和飯店，57樓有空中花園、150米長的無邊際泳池、展望台以及餐廳。從57樓的展望台可以俯瞰新加坡摩天輪和夜景，在餐廳則可以一邊欣賞夜景，一邊享用美食。平日泳池開放的時候，也可以到無邊際泳池邊欣賞美景。

ArtScience博物館的外形宛如一朵蓮花，被Sands公司總栽認為是「新加坡的歡迎之手」。

在濱海灣金沙酒店有路易威登旗下的首家灣畔旗艦店 ( Island Maison )，是東南亞第一家Louis Vuitton Maison，建築師是Peter Marino，室內設計以航海為主題。

國家地理頻道週邊商品專賣店 ( National Geographic Store ) 店裡有許多和旅行有關的商品，像是地圖、地球儀、相機包包、衣服、筆記本等等。我喜歡店裡的牆上掛滿了專業攝影師的作品，在店裡也看到了Steve McCurry有名的「阿富汗少女」。

陽光、沙灘、海浪、椰子樹，聖陶沙是新加坡有名的渡假勝地，有各式各樣精彩的活動，像是在沙灘玩水、放風箏、騎單車、玩直排輪、音樂噴泉、海底世界等等。

在City Hall市中心區域可以看見一間美麗的白色教堂，那就是聖安德烈教堂 ( St. Andrew's Cathedral )。聖安德烈教堂建於1856年至1861年之間，是史丹福萊佛士規劃的新加坡城市與文化中心的一部份。

萊佛士酒店 ( Raffles Hotel ) 是一間富有殖民特色的飯店，萊佛士酒店之於新加坡，就像半島酒店之於香港。萊佛士酒店Tiffin Room的下午茶是新加坡最有名的下午茶之一。

Dempsey Hill靠近植物園和烏節路，感覺像是在市區裡的小森林山區，而在這個小山區裡有各式各樣別具特色的餐廳。PS. Cafe就是位於這個小山區，在這裡可以暫時離開喧囂的鬧市，在綠意盎然的環境裡享用美味的brunch。

Hatched位於Evans Road，主要的食材是「蛋」，從menu裡可以看出用雞蛋可以以不同的烹調方式創造出各式各樣的菜肴，像水煮蛋、煎蛋餅、炒蛋、荷包蛋、歐姆煎蛋等等。
